Don Hess | Comments Off | Neither the Automakers or Congress have the answer
Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 10:16AM And our Congress is collectively beginning to look like Boss Hogg on The Dukes Of Hazzard when he would look at a subordinate concerning a serious problem and say: "Handle it, handle it

Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 08:06AM A proper and well managed government does indeed distribute a certain portion of the collective wealth.
Since the earliest days of the cave man, we humans have found that banding together and sharing efforts and goods to some degree produces a better life style for all.
Obviously, the correct mix of this distribution is important.
By looking at current facts and figures, we know with certainty the privileged elite in the U.S. have gotten out of hand in their greed. If the U.S. can peacefully and correctly re-engineer certain critical sectors of society, we have a chance to maintain our status as world leader.
If we fail to do this, we will follow the exact same path that EVERY other great society in history has gone down--that would be the road to mediocrity.
I submit that the decisions we make during the next few years will determine our nations future for the next thousand years. How we handle our wealth will create our future.
But, after all, Planet Earth will find a way to progress with or without the United States leading the way.

Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 12:06PM The common good theory is exactly why governments are formed. Remember when old King George slipped off his rocker and we had to do a little something about the common good...like form the United States of America?
Don Hess | Comments Off | Big Pharma Ghostwriting Research Papers
Friday, July 18, 2008 at 07:47AM If they truly want to help, the FDA should take a large swig from the cup of motivational fear they like to dish out; for 35 years nothing else has moved them to properly regulate our out-of-control pharmaceutical industry. If we compare the millions of people damaged by Big Pharma's false and misleading research to the relatively small number of people affected by tainted blood, it would appear that the FDA's pot is a whole lot blacker than the Red Cross kettle.
